Henry Teitelbaum

A former foreign correspondent based in Paris and London, Henry writes about travel, food & wine, and cultural topics while occasionally painting landscapes overlooking the Ionian Sea from his balcony. About Us

Anastasia Panagiotopoulos

A former grammar school and TOEFL teacher in New York, Anastasia lived in Italy, France, and the UK before returning to her home country in 2021. She is fluent in five languages, works as an interpreter, and enjoys dancing, fine dining, and long walks by the shore.

We're a couple of semi-retired US/UK expats who recently traded in our city spurs for a new life along the southern reaches of Europe's Mediterranean. London will do that to you. While we have only recently moved here full-time, we've been visiting these parts for more than 20 years for family reasons. Our goal today is to share some of what we have learned about culture, history, food & wine, and generally adjusting to life in a part of Greece not yet spoiled by shameless overdevelopment.
